how to begin your design

• call david mackey to schedule a meeting at your home, building, or site
• during the meeting discuss your design goals for the new construction, addition, or remodel
• discuss your space needs, your budget range, and your project schedule goals
• walk through the home, structure, or site and explain how your lifestyle or business needs fit or will fit into the new plan
• discuss business matters and fee options
• once the design process has begun, you may have periodic design review meetings to discuss and approve various aspects of the design development
• design will proceed from early concepts or schematic designs through more comprehensive design for evaluation-review-stamping by a professional architect and/or engineer, contractor pricing, and finally submission of the plans for the building permit application
• once the permit is issued you and/or your contractor can begin the project construction
• your satisfaction is assured throughout the process
